This car was purchased in Sacramento, Ca as a failed restoration project that was started in 2011 where the frame was taken apart, all necessary repairs made and sealed with 2 coats of POR 150, brakes, suspension, steering sorted, etc. The body was taken down to bare metal, primed and then painted. The owner updated the engine to a Mark II spec. 1622 which was stripped, dipped, bored and completely rebuilt along with the transmission. Unfortunately, the owner had an illness just before the interior was started and the car then sat in his garage for 7 years until he decided to sell it. The car has no rust, is clean and straight and includes pretty much everything you would need to get it restored. There is no better MGA coupe restoration project available in Europe at a better price than this one.
